A practical guide to arranging care at UniHealth Playford in Munno Para.
1. Arrange your appointment
Book through the existing online options or call (08) 8254 4500. Tell reception it is your first visit and ask whether you need a longer appointment. Check that the doctor selected on the booking provider is the one you intend to see.
2. Have these ready
- Your Medicare card, if you have one, and any relevant concession or DVA card.
- A current medication list, including non-prescription medicines.
- Relevant referrals, recent results or reports, and the details of your previous GP if you would like to discuss transferring records.
- The main concerns or questions you want to discuss.
Contact reception to confirm any registration paperwork and how early to arrive. Discuss medical history directly with the clinical team; do not send it through the general enquiry email draft.
3. Check costs before your visit
Bulk billing for all Medicare-eligible patients. UniHealth now bulk bills Medicare-eligible GP consultations, with no out-of-pocket cost for these consultations.
Procedures and non-Medicare services may have separate charges. If you do not have Medicare, contact reception to confirm the fee for your visit.
4. Plan your journey
