EVERYDAY REQUESTS

What do I do next?

Prescriptions

Contact reception to confirm how to arrange a repeat prescription and whether a consultation is needed. Have the medicine name ready when speaking to the team. Do not assume a request has been approved or sent.

Referrals

Ask reception which appointment to book to discuss a referral. Have the specialist or service details and any existing referral ready for your consultation. Confirm any referral requirements with the receiving provider.

Test results

Contact reception to ask how to arrange review of your results and when to follow up. Do not assume that no contact means a result is normal. Discuss the result and any next steps with your clinician.

Medical certificates

Contact reception to arrange the appropriate consultation and explain what documentation you need. A certificate depends on the clinician’s assessment; confirm any requirements before booking.

Telehealth

Call reception to confirm suitability, availability, Medicare eligibility and connection details. Some concerns need an in-person appointment. See our telehealth service guide for preparation.

Feedback & complaints

For administrative feedback or a complaint, call reception or email admin@unihealthmedical.com.au and ask for it to be directed to the appropriate practice contact. Avoid sensitive medical information in email. The privacy policy includes the practice’s published privacy-complaint information.
